As an Ibizan Hound owner of Swan, I've often been asked about the breed regarding temperament, history, health, suitability as a pet/family dog and also how to acquire or adopt one. I've also been informed that information about the Ibizan Hound is scarce, and that the information available online was not relevant to Australia. I’ve also been informed that finding a breeder, puppy or mature dog to adopt was difficult.
This sparked an interest to help provide this information, at the same time help promote and preserve the Ibizan Hound not just in Australia but worldwide. This website was created to build a global community that connects Ibizan Hound owners, breeders, and enthusiasts alike.
